Creating a brand identity from scratch
For this project, I designed a menu and branding concept for an imaginary coffee shop. The task was to create a wordmark logo, choose brand colors, and design a menu that was both functional and visually appealing. The design was inspired by my typography class, where I focused on the Sansita typeface.
I created a wordmark logo using the Sansita typeface, giving it a clean and modern look while maintaining a friendly, approachable feel. For the color palette, I chose warm, earthy tones to reflect the natural vibe of coffee.
The menu layout focused on clarity and ease of use, with well-organized sections and plenty of space to avoid clutter. The result is a cohesive brand identity that feels welcoming and contemporary, just like a great coffee shop should.
